In response to what is going on in our world, our nation and our city - we are making sure as a church to put things in place to stay connected. Psalm 133:1 says, “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity.” It’s so incredibly important for us to stay cohesive as Christians so that we can build one another up and bring biblical encouragement to one another.
These are unsure times and people are incredibly unsettled and are wondering what is going to happen next. The phrases I’ve heard the most lately are: Things are fluid, in light of, and Social Distancing. I agree that life is fluid right now and things have been and will be changing every single day. It’s also true that in light of the Coronavirus we will be doing ministry a bit differently for now. In terms of social distancing we may be apart physically but we will stay in constant unity through the ways listed below.
God is on the move and there is an incredible opportunity right now to bring church into the living rooms of people that have never wanted to go to church or have never stepped foot into a church. May we BE the church and reach out in the ways that are available to reach out right now. Philippians 2:4 says, “Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” May the Lord reach into homes through these messages and may we reach out with the truth of the Gospel. Let us be the tangible reflection of God to our city who desperately needs hope and to hear the truth that leads to freedom, peace and a fullness of joy.
God Bless,
Pastor Mike
As a church body we want nothing more than to stay consistent in gathering together and getting into God’s Word! We are transitioning to include both in-person, socially distant gatherings at the church building and online experiences for those who need to remain at home.
What to expect at our in-person gatherings:
We will have 50% of our typical seating available in the sanctuary.
We have ensured chairs are 6 feet apart between households to comply with social distancing guidelines.
Family Style Service means there will be no Calvary Buds classes
We will have hand sanitizer readily available.
Coffee will not be available at this time.
Yes, it looks a lot different in this season right now and although we may not all be together physically, we can still be and stay in unity through social media.
If you are a person with a compromised immune system or have experienced fever, cough or shortness of breath in the last 48 hours, we ask that you remain safely at home. We would love for you to gather with us via Facebook Live to worship and hear the Word!
As a church we’d love to know your needs, your struggles and what you need prayer for. During these times of unsettled hearts and unsure circumstances we all need to lift each other up and bring encouragement as a church through prayer. We ARE the church! Here are some ways to connect with us and give us your prayer request.
